Holiday Affiliate Marketing Help

Have the Easter Holidays been awesome for you? Has for me! I’ve been sitting in a seminar room in Sydney Australia, listening to the most inspiring Aussie affiliate marketing help I’ve ever come across. And for those of you who know me, I’ve come across some good stuff over the last five years, but this is by far THE BEST YET. If you do not yet know me, let me give you a quick background. For many years I’ve been working for myself as a phone counselor.  Work I had loved doing and work I was well paid for. BUT, the downside was that if I became unwell, with just a cold or flu for instance, it would go straight to my chest and throat, I’d lose my voice and my income would stop.

Holidays? Yes I love them, but the moment I would hang up the phone and sneak off for a week away with Holly, same problem, no income.

I soon realized I needed something of an insurance against sickness and holidays and turned to the internet for answers.

I found my solution: affiliate marketing! I used my knowledge and passion to create a web presence upon which I was able to place advertising that contained affiliate links. You know – like Amazon.com? You read about a subject online, see the book about it recommended, click the link and it takes you to Amazon and you buy the book. The web master gets a commission for the referral and that is the basics of affiliate marketing. Anyway, after a few years I was able to give up my main profession altogether and live quite well on my referral income.  (I’ve even since used affiliate marketing to become the number one distributor in my country for an MLM too!)

I have lived well for years now without working my old business or having the need of a job. When I get a cold, I stay in bed and get well quicker because I have no stress around income. Holidays? Oh yes. Holly and I took off for a couple of weeks in August to get married in the Whitsundays. The cool thing was that I made more money on honeymoon than I did while I was sort or working on the web.  Passive and multiple streams of affiliate income ROCKS.

Now I like offering affiliate marketing help to my friends because I feel sorry for them when I see they have to do the old 9 to 5 routine.
